LC-Packer Column Packing Machines
LC-Packer packing stations use pneumatic high-pressure amplification to slurry-pack silica, polymer and other common chromatography media. The analytical model handles 2–10 mm I.D. columns and the preparative model 20–50 mm I.D. Matching 316L stainless steel empty columns, slurry reservoirs, guard columns, in-line filters and fittings are also available.

Which packer fits your columns
Choose by column inner diameter: the analytical model for 2–10 mm analytical and semi-preparative columns, the preparative model for 20–50 mm preparative columns. 316L empty columns, slurry reservoirs and accessories are supplied to match the packer model.

The LC-Packer PREP packing station uses pneumatic high-pressure amplification to pack preparative columns, slurry-packing silica, polymer and other common chromatography media. Slurry reservoirs and column tubes of different volumes and sizes can be configured to suit the media and column dimensions.

316L Stainless Steel Empty Columns Analytical · Semi-prep · Preparative
- Precision-machined from high-purity 316L stainless steel tubing.
- Low dead volume; bore roughness Ra 0.2–0.3 with a uniform circular cross-section, giving good consistency and reproducibility.
- Machined on precision lathes to minimise end-fitting dead volume and extra-column volume.
- Frits can be removed repeatedly for cleaning or replacement; columns are supplied empty for you to pack with your own media.
